Product Description

Mercer's Green Drake Missing Link: Created by California tier Mike Mercer, the Missing Link is a versatile low-profile dry fly known for its effectiveness during insect hatches with a realistic film-sitting design
Effective Green Drake Mayfly Imitation: Accurately imitates adult and crippled Green Drake mayflies with the correct olive-green body color, segmented abdomen, and natural wing profile
Premium Low-Profile Construction: Hand-tied with elk hair and Z-lon wing for superior flotation in the surface film, durable body materials, and subtle hackle for lifelike movement and natural drift
Versatile Searching & Hatch-Matching Fly: Excels as a great searching pattern as well as during Green Drake hatches in late spring and early summer; highly effective for brown, rainbow, and cutthroat trout
Practical Technical Dry Fly: A reliable pattern that performs well when trout are selectively feeding on Green Drakes; often more effective than traditional high-floating dries in technical, clear water conditions
