Shipping & Returns Policy
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
This Shipping & Returns Policy (“Policy”) governs shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, and related transaction activities conducted through the Ridgerunner Marketplace (“Marketplace”). By accessing the Marketplace, placing an order, selling products, or otherwise participating in a transaction through the Marketplace, you agree to this Policy.
Ridgerunner Outdoors, Inc. (“Ridgerunner,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a technology platform that enables transactions between customers (“Customers”) and independent sellers (“Vendors”).
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, Ridgerunner does not manufacture, own, store, package, ship, transport, or take physical possession of products offered by Vendors. Vendors remain independently responsible for their products and for fulfilling their obligations to Customers.
Ridgerunner administers the Marketplace and may establish, monitor, interpret, moderate, and enforce Marketplace policies to promote secure, lawful, fair, and trustworthy commerce. Ridgerunner’s administration of the Marketplace does not make Ridgerunner the seller, shipping carrier, fulfillment provider, manufacturer, importer, or guarantor of any Vendor, Customer, carrier, product, shipment, return, or transaction.
1. Role of Ridgerunner
Ridgerunner operates and administers the Marketplace but is not the seller of Vendor products, a shipping carrier, logistics provider, manufacturer, or retailer of Vendor products.
Vendors are solely responsible for their products and the physical fulfillment of their orders, including inventory, packaging, shipment preparation, carrier selection, shipment, delivery obligations, return handling, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ridgerunner:
- Does not physically transport products;
- Does not control the operations or performance of independent shipping carriers;
- Does not guarantee shipment or delivery dates;
- Does not manufacture, package, supply, or warrant Vendor products;
- Does not assume the obligations of a Vendor, Customer, carrier, manufacturer, or other third party;
- Does not guarantee that a Vendor, Customer, carrier, or other third party will perform its obligations; and
- Does not assume responsibility for the independent acts or omissions of Vendors, Customers, carriers, or other third parties.
Platform Oversight, Trust, and Compliance
Ridgerunner administers, moderates, and may enforce the rules governing use of and commerce conducted through the Marketplace.
To protect the integrity, security, trust, and compliance of the Marketplace, Ridgerunner may, in its discretion:
- Establish, administer, interpret, monitor, modify, and enforce Marketplace policies;
- Establish minimum shipping, delivery, return, refund, customer-service, and transaction standards;
- Require Vendors and Customers to comply with Marketplace policies and applicable transaction requirements;
- Monitor Marketplace transactions for suspected fraud, abuse, prohibited activity, or policy violations;
- Maintain transaction, payment, communication, tracking, and Marketplace records;
- Treat Ridgerunner’s Marketplace records as the authoritative platform record for purposes of administering Marketplace policies;
- Request tracking information, delivery confirmation, photographs, communications, receipts, documentation, or other evidence relating to a transaction;
- Review shipping, delivery, return, refund, payment, and transaction disputes;
- Facilitate communications between Customers and Vendors;
- Determine whether conduct occurring through the Marketplace complies with Ridgerunner policies;
- Require a Marketplace participant to take corrective action as a condition of continued use of the Marketplace;
- Restrict, suspend, or terminate Marketplace access or privileges;
- Cancel or restrict transactions when reasonably permitted by applicable terms or law;
- Take reasonable measures intended to detect or prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized transactions, deceptive practices, or prohibited activity; and
- Take other Marketplace-level actions Ridgerunner determines appropriate to protect Customers, Vendors, Ridgerunner, or the integrity of the Marketplace.
Ridgerunner may make final determinations regarding the interpretation and application of Ridgerunner Marketplace policies. Such determinations concern access to and administration of the Marketplace and do not transfer to Ridgerunner the underlying legal or operational obligations of a Vendor, Customer, carrier, or other third party.
Nothing in Ridgerunner’s administration, moderation, investigation, customer support, enforcement, or dispute-resolution activities makes Ridgerunner the seller, carrier, manufacturer, guarantor, insurer, or responsible party for the underlying goods or services.
Except where required by applicable law, Ridgerunner’s exercise or non-exercise of any Marketplace enforcement right does not create an independent duty or obligation to monitor, investigate, enforce, resolve, or guarantee any particular transaction or outcome.
2. Shipping Rates, Expiration & Discrepancies
Shipping rates displayed through the Marketplace may be calculated using information supplied by Vendors, Customers, carriers, shipping-service providers, or other third parties.
Shipping rates may change or expire before a shipment is processed.
Vendors are responsible for:
- Entering accurate product weights, dimensions, shipping origins, and other information required to calculate shipping;
- Processing shipments within applicable timeframes;
- Reviewing shipping costs before purchasing or generating shipping services; and
- Any additional shipping expense resulting from Vendor delay, inaccurate information, packaging changes, expired rates, or other Vendor-controlled circumstances.
A Vendor may not retroactively increase a Customer’s shipping charge after purchase unless permitted by applicable law, this Policy, and the terms disclosed to and accepted by the Customer.
Shipping estimates and rates displayed through the Marketplace are not guarantees by Ridgerunner.
Ridgerunner is not responsible for carrier pricing changes, rate expiration, inaccurate Vendor-provided shipment information, carrier adjustments, surcharges, or other third-party shipping charges.
3. Shipping Service Level Standards
Ridgerunner may establish minimum shipping standards applicable to Vendors using the Marketplace.
3.1 Stocked Items
Unless a different timeframe is clearly disclosed to the Customer before purchase, stocked products are expected to be shipped within three (3) business days after the Vendor receives an eligible order.
3.2 Made-to-Order Items
Vendors offering made-to-order products must clearly disclose the applicable production and estimated shipment lead time.
3.3 Custom Items
Vendors offering custom or personalized products must clearly disclose applicable production and estimated shipment lead times.
Vendor Responsibility
Vendors are responsible for:
- Providing accurate lead times;
- Maintaining accurate inventory availability;
- Processing orders within the timeframe represented to Customers;
- Promptly communicating material delays; and
- Complying with applicable Ridgerunner Marketplace standards.
Ridgerunner may monitor Vendor performance and take Marketplace-level action when a Vendor repeatedly or materially fails to comply with applicable shipping standards.
Ridgerunner does not guarantee that a Vendor or carrier will meet any stated processing, shipping, or delivery timeframe.
Any enforcement action taken by Ridgerunner is a Marketplace administrative action and does not make Ridgerunner responsible for the Vendor’s underlying fulfillment obligations or the carrier’s performance.
4. Shipping Options
4.1 Vendor Shipping Options
Depending on Marketplace functionality made available by Ridgerunner, Vendors may configure shipping options including:
- Standard shipping;
- Express shipping;
- Standard-only shipping;
- Consolidated shipping;
- Product-specific shipping methods; and
- Free-shipping thresholds.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring their configured shipping options accurately reflect the services they can provide.
4.2 Consolidated Shipping
Where consolidated shipping is available and enabled:
- Shipping rates may be calculated using combined product weights, dimensions, packaging information, destination, and other relevant information;
- Consolidation may be available only for products capable of being shipped together;
- Consolidation may depend upon compatible shipping methods, Vendors, fulfillment locations, or carrier requirements; and
- The Marketplace may determine whether an order is eligible for consolidated shipping based upon available transaction information.
The availability of consolidated shipping does not constitute a guarantee that products will arrive together or at a particular time.
4.3 Customer Shipping Options
Customers may select from shipping options made available at checkout.
Depending on the products and Vendors involved, Customers may be permitted to:
- Select Standard or Express shipping;
- Select shipping options by product or shipment; and
- Receive free shipping when applicable Vendor-defined requirements are satisfied.
For multi-item orders:
- Products using compatible shipping methods may qualify for consolidated shipping; and
- Products using different shipping methods, Vendors, fulfillment locations, or shipment requirements may generate separate shipping charges.
Available shipping options and estimated costs will be displayed at checkout based on information available at that time.
5. Shipping Carriers & Tracking
Vendors are responsible for the shipment of their products, including:
- Selecting an appropriate carrier;
- Properly packaging products;
- Purchasing or arranging shipment;
- Tendering packages to the carrier;
- Providing accurate tracking information when required;
- Maintaining documentation relating to shipment and delivery; and
- Responding to shipping-related Customer inquiries.
Ridgerunner may collect, display, transmit, monitor, or use tracking information supplied by Vendors, carriers, shipping-service providers, or other third parties.
Ridgerunner may use tracking information when administering Marketplace policies or reviewing a transaction or dispute.
Tracking information displayed through the Marketplace is based on information received from third parties. Ridgerunner does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or timeliness of carrier or third-party tracking information.
6. Delays, Lost Shipments, Damage & Delivery Issues
Vendors and Customers acknowledge that shipping services are performed by independent carriers and other third parties outside Ridgerunner’s control.
Ridgerunner does not guarantee or assume responsibility for:
- Carrier delays;
- Weather-related delays;
- Lost shipments;
- Damaged shipments;
- Stolen packages;
- Incorrect delivery by a carrier;
- Carrier scanning or tracking errors;
- Service interruptions;
- Customs delays;
- Import or export delays;
- Government inspections;
- Incorrect addresses supplied by Customers;
- Packaging failures attributable to a Vendor; or
- Other events occurring during physical shipment or delivery.
Vendors remain responsible for addressing their obligations to Customers under applicable law, their disclosed policies, and Ridgerunner Marketplace requirements.
Customers and Vendors may be required to pursue applicable carrier claims when loss, damage, or delivery failure is attributable to the carrier.
Ridgerunner may assist with communications, documentation, transaction review, or Marketplace-level dispute resolution but does not become responsible for the underlying shipment by providing such assistance.
7. Returns Policy
7.1 Vendor Return Policies
Vendors may establish their own return policies, subject to:
- Applicable law;
- Ridgerunner Marketplace policies;
- Any minimum standards established by Ridgerunner; and
- The terms disclosed to the Customer at the time of purchase.
Vendor return policies may address:
- Return eligibility;
- Return windows;
- Product condition requirements;
- Refund methods;
- Exchanges;
- Restocking fees;
- Return shipping costs; and
- Non-returnable products.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring their return policies are accurate, lawful, clearly disclosed, and consistently applied.
Ridgerunner may review Vendor return policies and may restrict or require modification of policies that violate Ridgerunner Marketplace requirements or applicable law.
Ridgerunner’s review or enforcement of Marketplace standards does not make Ridgerunner responsible for a Vendor’s return obligations.
7.2 Return Initiation
Where supported by the Marketplace, Customers may initiate return requests through their order history or other designated Marketplace functionality.
Return requests may be routed to the applicable Vendor for review and action.
The Vendor is responsible for determining return eligibility under its disclosed return policy, subject to applicable law and Ridgerunner Marketplace requirements.
Ridgerunner may review a return dispute to determine whether a Vendor or Customer has complied with applicable Marketplace policies.
Ridgerunner may take Marketplace-level action based upon that determination without assuming responsibility for the underlying product, return, or Vendor obligation.
7.3 Return Labels
Unless otherwise stated:
- Return labels are not automatically included with an order;
- Return-label availability may depend upon the Vendor’s return policy;
- Vendors may provide return labels with shipments;
- Vendors may provide return labels after approving a return;
- Vendors may require Customers to pay return shipping when permitted by the disclosed return policy and applicable law; and
- Vendors may decline to provide prepaid return shipping when permitted by applicable law and Marketplace policies.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Ridgerunner does not purchase, fund, insure, or guarantee return shipping.
Marketplace functionality that generates, displays, transmits, or facilitates access to a shipping label does not make Ridgerunner the carrier or party responsible for the shipment.
7.4 Refunds
Vendors are responsible for refunds arising from their products and transactions in accordance with:
- Their disclosed policies;
- Ridgerunner Marketplace requirements; and
- Applicable law.
Refunds may be technically processed through payment systems used by the Marketplace or its payment-service providers.
The fact that Ridgerunner’s technology, payment infrastructure, or payment-service providers facilitate or transmit a refund does not mean that Ridgerunner assumes the Vendor’s underlying refund obligation.
Ridgerunner does not guarantee that any particular return will qualify for a refund or that a third-party financial institution or payment provider will complete a refund within a particular timeframe.
Ridgerunner may take Marketplace-level action when it determines that a Vendor or Customer has failed to comply with applicable Marketplace policies.
7.5 Non-Returnable Items
Subject to applicable law and Ridgerunner Marketplace requirements, Vendors may designate certain products as non-returnable.
Such products may include:
- Custom products;
- Personalized products;
- Made-to-order products;
- Used products;
- Products damaged after delivery;
- Final-sale products;
- Perishable products;
- Products that cannot legally or safely be returned; and
- Other products appropriately identified as non-returnable before purchase.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring that non-returnable designations comply with applicable law.
Ridgerunner may restrict or reject Vendor return-policy terms that conflict with Marketplace requirements or applicable law, but Ridgerunner does not assume responsibility for the Vendor’s underlying compliance obligations.
8. Customer Support & Marketplace Administration
Ridgerunner Customer Support may assist Customers and Vendors with matters including:
- Shipping inquiries;
- Tracking questions;
- Delivery issues;
- Return coordination;
- Refund inquiries;
- Transaction documentation;
- Vendor-Customer communications;
- Suspected fraud or abuse; and
- Marketplace disputes.
Ridgerunner may review Marketplace records and information supplied by Customers, Vendors, carriers, payment providers, or other parties when administering Marketplace policies.
Ridgerunner may determine whether Marketplace policies have been followed and may take appropriate Marketplace-level action.
Customer support, investigation, moderation, enforcement, communication, or dispute assistance provided by Ridgerunner:
- Does not make Ridgerunner the seller or carrier;
- Does not transfer Vendor obligations to Ridgerunner;
- Does not constitute a guarantee of any outcome;
- Does not make Ridgerunner responsible for carrier performance;
- Does not make Ridgerunner responsible for the quality, safety, legality, condition, or delivery of Vendor products; and
- Does not create an independent obligation for Ridgerunner to resolve every dispute or intervene in every transaction.
Ridgerunner reserves discretion regarding the administration and enforcement of its Marketplace policies to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Free Shipping
Vendors may offer free shipping based upon order value, products, destinations, promotional programs, or other eligibility requirements.
Vendors are responsible for:
- Establishing applicable thresholds;
- Accurately configuring their shipping settings;
- Clearly communicating applicable conditions; and
- Honoring valid free-shipping offers presented to Customers.
Eligibility may be calculated by Marketplace technology at checkout using Vendor settings and available transaction information.
Ridgerunner does not guarantee that a Vendor will perform its shipping obligations merely because a free-shipping offer is displayed.
Ridgerunner may require Vendors to honor valid Marketplace offers or take Marketplace-level enforcement action when appropriate, but such enforcement does not transfer the Vendor’s shipping obligation to Ridgerunner.
10. Vendor Compliance & Responsibility
Each Vendor is independently responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, carrier requirements, and Marketplace requirements applicable to its products and shipments.
Vendor responsibilities include, as applicable:
- Product legality;
- Product eligibility for shipment;
- Shipping restrictions;
- Packaging requirements;
- Hazardous-material requirements;
- Age restrictions;
- Carrier restrictions;
- Labeling requirements;
- Product disclosures;
- Export requirements;
- Import requirements;
- Customs documentation;
- Delivery restrictions;
- Return requirements;
- Consumer-protection requirements; and
- Any other regulatory obligation applicable to the Vendor, product, shipment, or transaction.
Ridgerunner may establish compliance requirements, request documentation, monitor Marketplace activity, restrict products or transactions, and take Marketplace-level enforcement action.
Ridgerunner’s ability or decision to monitor, review, restrict, or enforce Marketplace requirements does not transfer a Vendor’s legal obligations to Ridgerunner and does not constitute a representation or warranty that any Vendor, product, shipment, or transaction complies with applicable law.
Vendors remain solely responsible for determining and maintaining their own compliance.
11. Shipping, Return & Transaction Disputes
Customers and Vendors should first attempt to resolve shipping, delivery, return, and refund issues through the Marketplace’s designated communication and resolution processes.
Ridgerunner may:
- Facilitate communications;
- Request supporting documentation;
- Review Marketplace transaction records;
- Review tracking and delivery information;
- Review Vendor policies applicable to the transaction;
- Review Customer and Vendor communications;
- Determine whether Marketplace policies were followed;
- Provide administrative dispute resolution;
- Require corrective Marketplace action; and
- Restrict, suspend, or terminate Marketplace privileges when appropriate.
Ridgerunner may make final determinations regarding the interpretation and enforcement of Ridgerunner Marketplace policies.
A Marketplace determination does not constitute a judicial determination of legal liability and does not make Ridgerunner responsible for the underlying acts, omissions, products, shipments, obligations, or conduct of a Vendor, Customer, carrier, payment provider, or other third party.
Ridgerunner does not guarantee that a dispute will be resolved in favor of either party or that a Vendor, Customer, carrier, financial institution, or other third party will comply with a requested or required action.
Nothing in this section requires Ridgerunner to assume the underlying financial, shipping, return, refund, or legal obligation of another party.
12. Fraud, Abuse & Marketplace Protection
Ridgerunner may take reasonable Marketplace-level measures intended to protect Customers, Vendors, and the Marketplace from suspected:
- Fraud;
- Unauthorized transactions;
- Payment abuse;
- Return abuse;
- Shipping fraud;
- False tracking information;
- Misrepresentation;
- Counterfeit activity;
- Deceptive practices;
- Prohibited transactions;
- Policy violations; or
- Other conduct that may threaten the security, legality, trust, or integrity of the Marketplace.
Ridgerunner may request documentation, restrict Marketplace functionality, suspend accounts, cancel eligible transactions, limit access, or take other action permitted by applicable terms or law.
These rights are intended to permit Ridgerunner to administer and protect its platform and do not create a guarantee that Ridgerunner will detect, prevent, investigate, or eliminate every instance of fraud, abuse, misconduct, or unlawful activity.
Except as required by applicable law, Ridgerunner’s reservation or exercise of these rights does not create an affirmative duty to monitor or police the independent conduct of every Marketplace participant.
13. Third-Party Services
The Marketplace may integrate with or provide access to services operated by third parties, including:
- Shipping carriers;
- Shipping-rate providers;
- Label providers;
- Tracking providers;
- Payment processors;
- Financial institutions;
- Tax providers; and
- Other technology or service providers.
These third parties operate independently from Ridgerunner and may maintain their own terms, policies, service levels, limitations, and procedures.
Ridgerunner is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, accuracy, performance, service interruptions, pricing, or policies of independent third-party providers.
Use of third-party services may be subject to additional terms established by those providers.
14. No Guarantee of Marketplace Outcomes
Ridgerunner provides technology and Marketplace administration intended to facilitate commerce between independent Vendors and Customers.
Ridgerunner does not warrant or guarantee:
- Vendor performance;
- Customer performance;
- Carrier performance;
- Product availability;
- Shipment timing;
- Delivery timing;
- Tracking accuracy;
- Successful delivery;
- Product condition upon delivery;
- Return acceptance;
- Refund eligibility;
- Refund timing;
- Carrier claim outcomes; or
- The conduct of any independent third party.
Ridgerunner’s administration, monitoring, moderation, customer support, compliance activities, or enforcement of Marketplace policies does not constitute a guarantee of any transaction or outcome.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RIDGERUNNER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, COST, CLAIM, EXPENSE, DELAY, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SHIPPING, DELIVERY, RETURN, REFUND, LOSS, THEFT, DAMAGE, CONDITION, PACKAGING, HANDLING, OR TRANSPORTATION OF PRODUCTS SOLD BY INDEPENDENT VENDORS THROUGH THE MARKETPLACE.
Without limiting the foregoing, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ridgerunner shall not be liable for losses arising from or relating to:
- Shipping or delivery delays;
- Lost, stolen, or misdelivered shipments;
- Damaged products or packaging;
- Carrier acts or omissions;
- Tracking errors;
- Vendor fulfillment failures;
- Incorrect Vendor shipping information;
- Customer-provided address errors;
- Return denials;
- Return shipping;
- Restocking fees;
- Refund delays or disputes;
- Carrier pricing or rate changes;
- Customs or import delays;
- Third-party service failures;
- Vendor policy violations; or
- Acts or omissions of Vendors, Customers, carriers, payment providers, or other third parties.
Ridgerunner’s administration, monitoring, investigation, moderation, enforcement, customer support, or dispute-resolution activities do not constitute an assumption of the liabilities, duties, or obligations of a Vendor, Customer, carrier, or other third party.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. No Waiver or Assumption of Duty
Ridgerunner’s decision to assist with, investigate, moderate, enforce, or resolve a particular Marketplace matter does not:
- Create an obligation to take the same action in another matter;
- Create a continuing duty to monitor a Vendor, Customer, carrier, product, shipment, or transaction;
- Constitute an assumption of another party’s legal obligations;
- Make Ridgerunner responsible for future conduct by a Vendor, Customer, carrier, or third party; or
- Waive any limitation, protection, right, or remedy available to Ridgerunner under this Policy, other Marketplace terms, or applicable law.
Ridgerunner’s failure or decision not to exercise a Marketplace right in a particular instance does not waive its right to exercise that right in the future.
17. Relationship to Other Ridgerunner Terms
This Policy forms part of the terms governing use of the Ridgerunner Marketplace.
Additional Ridgerunner terms, Vendor agreements, payment terms, product-specific requirements, or Marketplace policies may also apply to a transaction.
If a Vendor participates in a separately contracted Ridgerunner service, including any fulfillment, logistics, managed-service, or other optional program, that service may be governed by separate written terms. Participation in such a service does not modify this Policy except to the extent expressly stated in those separate written terms.
Nothing in this Policy creates an agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, franchise, fiduciary, or similar relationship between Ridgerunner and any Vendor, Customer, carrier, or other third party.
18. Policy Modifications
Ridgerunner reserves the right to modify, supplement, replace, or update this Policy from time to time.
Changes will become effective when posted or on any later effective date specified by Ridgerunner, subject to applicable law.
Continued use of the Marketplace after an updated Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Reservation of Rights
Ridgerunner reserves all rights and remedies available under its Marketplace agreements, policies, and applicable law.
Nothing in this Policy requires Ridgerunner to undertake the obligations of a Vendor, Customer, shipping carrier, manufacturer, payment provider, or other third party.
Ridgerunner’s authority to administer, moderate, secure, and enforce its Marketplace exists to protect the operation and integrity of the platform and shall not be construed as an assumption by Ridgerunner of responsibility or liability for the independent obligations, conduct, products, shipments, returns, refunds, or performance of Marketplace participants or third parties.
