X2R Taco Rifle Mag Pouch FAQs

What makes this TACO pouch special?

This pouch is special because it can fit almost any kind of rifle magazine. It uses strong polymer brackets and a bungee cord that stretches to grip different magazines tightly, like those for ARs, AKs, and more. This means you don't have to buy a new pouch if you get a different kind of rifle.

What does "X2R" in the name mean?

The "X2R" in the name tells you what it holds. "X2" means it is designed to hold two magazines, and the "R" stands for Rifle.

How do I attach this pouch to my gear?

The pouch comes with universal HSGI® clips. You can use these clips to attach it to MOLLE webbing, which are the loops you see on many tactical vests and bags. You can also use the clips to mount the pouch directly onto a belt up to 2 inches wide.

Will my magazines fall out since there's no top flap?

No, your magazines will be very secure. The pouch uses a bungee cord system that provides adjustable retention, which means it grips your magazines firmly. This strong grip prevents them from falling out, even when you are moving around.

Is this pouch built to last?

Yes, it is very durable. It is made from a special kind of strong and flexible polymer that is built to handle rough use in harsh places. The materials are also waterproof and there are small holes, called grommets, at the bottom to let any water drain out.
