Product Description
PMD Cripple Imitation — Designed to match crippled or emerging Pale Morning Dun mayflies; effective during hatches when trout target vulnerable insects on rivers and streams.
Hook Size 16 — Tied on a size 16 dry fly hook; matches common PMD sizing and provides good hook penetration
Low-Riding Cripple Design — Features a trailing shuck and partially emerged wings to represent struggling duns; useful when trout prefer emergers over standard dry flies.
Buoyant Materials — Uses CDC, Zelon, or similar fibers for good floatation and durability; maintains performance through repeated use and multiple fish.
Effective Pattern for PMD Hatches — Works well during Pale Morning Dun emergences, especially on clear Western rivers; a practical addition to dry fly and emerger selections for selective trout.
