SureFire LED Weapon Light FAQs

What is a "forend weaponlight"?

It's a flashlight that is also the handguard of your gun. Instead of adding a separate light, this replaces the front part of your H&K firearm, so the light is built right in. This makes your gun simpler and lighter.

Will the 628LMF-B fit my gun?

This light is made to fit specific firearms: the H&K MP5, HK53, and HK94. It is designed to replace the original handguard on these models perfectly.

Is it hard to install?

No, it's made for a simple and secure fit. You just remove your gun's old handguard and put the SureFire 628LMF-B in its place. The user manual shows you exactly how to do it.

How do I turn the light on and off?

It has two easy-to-use switches. You can gently press the long pad for a quick flash of light when you need it. Or, you can press the small button to keep the light on without holding anything down.

How bright is 1,000 lumens?

It's very bright. A 1,000-lumen beam is strong enough to light up a whole room or help you see things clearly from over two football fields away. It’s powerful enough to help you see a threat from a safe distance.

Why is having the light built-in a good thing?

Because the light is part of the handguard, you don't need any extra parts. It keeps your gun balanced and feels like it's part of the original firearm. Most importantly, you can turn the light on without ever moving your hand from your normal firing grip.
