The Thing - Soft Plastic Creature Bait for Bass Fishing

Bro, when you need something bulky to trigger big bass, The Thing delivers. This creature bait has presence.

Multiple appendages create water displacement and movement. Bass feel it coming through heavy cover before they see it - and when they do see it? Game on.

Where It's Money:

• Flipping - Matted vegetation, lily pads, hydrilla
• Pitching - Docks, laydowns, boat houses
• Jig Trailer - Adds bulk and action to your flipping jig
• Punching - Heavy weight, punch through the thick stuff

My Setup:
Texas Rig with 1/2-1oz tungsten. 50-65lb braid. 7'3"-7'6" heavy rod. You're fishing for big bites in heavy cover - you need the gear to get them out.

Real Talk:
This isn't a numbers bait. You're targeting bigger fish in thick cover where smaller baits get ignored. When you get bit, it's usually a good one.

Color Selection:
Dark colors (Black/Blue, Junebug) for stained water or low light. Green Pumpkin for clearer conditions. Match what crawfish look like in your lake.
