FAST Thermal Riser FAQs

What is the main purpose of the FAST™ Thermal Riser?

The FAST™ Thermal Riser raises a thermal optic to a 2.05" optical centerline. This height creates a more natural, "heads-up" shooting posture, which helps you aim faster and stay more aware of your surroundings, especially when wearing a helmet or other gear.

What optics is this riser compatible with?

This riser is designed for two primary uses:

• To elevate a thermal optic that is mounted on a UNITY™ CTM™.
• To raise a thermal optic that uses a standard OEM 1.54" clip-on style mount to the 2.05" height.

What type of rail does the FAST™ Thermal Riser fit?

It is designed to be placed on a standard M1913 rail (often called a Picatinny rail).

How do I install the riser and how tight should the screws be?

You will need a T25 bit driver to secure the screws. The screws should be torqued to 35 in-lbs (4 Nm). It is important to lightly snug all screws before applying the final torque to any single one.

What is the riser made of?

It is made from high-strength 7075-T6 Aluminum and finished with a durable Type III Hardcoat Anodized coating.

Where is the best place to purchase a genuine FAST™ Thermal Riser?

To ensure you receive a genuine Unity Tactical product, you should always buy from an authorized distributor like Atomic Defense. This guarantees you receive an authentic, high-quality item and have access to reliable customer support for any questions.
